FENDI FEAT. PEEKABOO SOFT SMALL BAG The new iconic bag released with a special video project with the music of Little Dragon

Jan 12, 2025

An iconic sound for a new icon. FENDI's Peekaboo family introduces the Peekaboo Soft Small bag with a special video directed by talented Emir Eralp featuring groundbreaking song Little Man by Swedish electronic music band Little Dragon. This return to notable projects marks the anticipation of the Maison's 100th anniversary celebrations and sets the way for the future, fostering a creative environment where boundaries are continuously pushed. Mixing music, fashion and art, FENDI emphasizes its DNA of constant research.

Under the lens of film director Emir Eralp, the video shows simple yet meaningful moments of connection between the Peekaboo Soft Small bag, the city of Rome and three young women - with their bags that are back to being soft, offering shoulder, crossbody and handle carry attitude. The atmosphere becomes lyrically challenging with the voice of Little Dragon's Yukimi Nagano, and the synth-pop touch gives the storytelling a contemporary feel - elegant, genuine, joyful and unposed.

"The Peekaboo Soft Small bag has perfect proportions. It's like a Baguette bag, you can fit a lot in it, everything you need. They stretch, move, expand and contract depending on what you put inside. That's the secret: soft small bags are never really small, they're fake small,"

says Silvia Venturini Fendi, FENDI's Artistic Director of Accessories and Menswear.

Unveiled on the Women’s Spring/Summer 2025 runway, Peekaboo Soft Small bag embodies softness and versatility, aligned with the Maison’s creativity and dedication to craftsmanship. The bag maintains the original features of the Medium and Large sizes: the soft construction, lightweight design, and sumptuous high-quality calf leather.

"I like the idea that this bag shows off its interior even more. The leather is soft and it's like it's smiling when you open it. This bag smiles. It's more accessible, more revealing of what's inside",

continues Silvia Venturini Fendi,

“it's like an identity card for the person wearing it”.
