The culmination of a wonderful windfall of beauty, imagination and creativity, the Milan-based brand’s Fall 2025 RTW Collection reimagines women’s wardrobing in unexpected and striking new ways. From deliciously draped, dramatic silhouettes featuring prints and creatures inspired by the earth’s bounty, to intricate woven accessories made to match key collection pieces, each piece is conceived as a cohesive celebration of the beauty of life’s cycles.

POWERED-UP PRINTS

Sprouting from all manner of Mother Earth inspiration, the prints this season feature animals, birds, blooms, and intricate in-house designed creatures composed of myriad natural wonders. “Fun-gi” inspired by the global underground kingdom of mushrooms, speaks to connectivity and communication; “Nucleus” a stunning placed print inspired by the microscopic atoms and cells that make us up, arrives in patterns that resemble mosaiced stones; “Camelot” a powerful, in-house piazzato features a golden stallion which, upon closer inspection, is made up of hundreds of other creatures and sprouts; and “Monarch” the majestic butterfly is crafted from a patchwork of surprising animals and beasts. As always, La DoubleJ continues its celebration of botanicals, featuring water flowers prints like “Bamboo” and “Riptide” - even “Pinwheel” which appears more geometric print, is inspired by the circular ring of petals around a stamen.

SCARF DRESSING

This collection is rooted in a striking new visual that arrives grounded through a deep exploration of scarf dressing. Scarves, foulards, hoods and neckerchiefs have been built into robes, tops, gowns and overcoats manifesting as a series of powerful new silhouettes. Intricate items like the bias-cut, fringed Scarf Top, the Reversible Scarf Gilet, the Scarf Skirt and the Scarf Blouse, are an elevated take on beloved bohemian shapes, while the Draped Scarf Dress is a dramatic but versatile offering with a built in scarf that can be worn as a hood, a shawl, or a cape, allowing the wearer to decide how much they want to reveal.
