Loewe celebrates Ramadan with Silver capsule collection

Feb 9, 2025

On February 6, LOEWE celebrates Ramadan with the release of the Silver Capsule Collection. Featuring an elegant array of ready-to-wear, bags and accessories, the collection is brought to life through a campaign film directed by Lebanese-Sudanese creative Dana Boulos and imagery by Niquita Bento, both of which riff on the rituals and traditions of Ramadan with LOEWE’s characteristic sense of play.

The Silver Capsule Collection focuses on exquisite materials and fluid s ilhouettes. The Puzzle bag is reimagined in exotic skins, including vetiver crocodile and silver laminated python. The metallic theme continues with tactile surface treatments on a silver scaled Flamenco clutch and richly beaded Squeeze bag.

The accompanying ready-to-wear offering prioritises soft colours and sumptuous fabrics across a series of day-to-evening options. LOEWE proposes a new take on the belted pyjama in grey silk, while a shirt and pants set is cut in buttery nappa leather, combining minimalist tailoring with maximum suppleness. Characterful details draw the eye, from the pebble dress’s branded silver button to the chain adornments on ivory or dusty blue silk dresses. A tailored coat in understated inky blue, completes the capsule.

The accompanying campaign film centres on three iconic bags at the heart of the capsule collection: the Squeeze, the Puzzle, and the Flamenco clutch.

Collectively representing the New Arab Guard who are pioneering in their respective industries across the arts, sport, music and culture, the campaign stars a pan-Gulf cast of talent led by Saudi Arabian actress and filmmaker, Sarah Taibah. I t also f eatures Emirati director Sarah Al Hashimi, Omani artist Mays Almoosawi, Kuwaiti visual artist Najd Al Taher, Bahraini contemporary artist Salman Al Najem, Kuwaiti sound curator Hassan Cascou, and Olympic rower Husein Alireza, who was a quarterfinalist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics representing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The campaign explores social dynamics and traditions of Ramadan & Eid that are inspired by the intersection of Spanish and Arabic culture. The blend of social engagement and personal reflection gives Ramadan a unique rhythm, where people balance their responsibilities toward others with their own solitude. LOEWE explores this time of both collective celebration and individual devotion.

The Silver Capsule Collection will be available in selected stores in the Middle East and at Harrods, London from February 9. A complementary selection of ready-to-wear and accessories from the SS25 precollection is available online from February 6.
